About the Plaza Fiesta Dia De Muertos 5K
The course runs from Plaza Fiesta shopping center in Chamblee, so the energy of the venue is right there at the beginning and end. The surrounding area gives the morning a distinct cultural feel before you even hit the road.
Face painting is set up at the venue, and after running there are family activities and ceremonies honoring loved ones who have passed. The post-race gathering has real intention behind it, tied to Día de Muertos traditions and benefiting the Latin American Association.
