About the Plano Pacers 3x3K Relay + FREE Kids 1K
This is a relay race held at Windhaven Meadows Park, where teams of runners each take a leg of the course before handing off a baton. Age groups are based on the combined ages of all team members, so teams tend to span a wide range of experience levels. After the relay wraps up, there is a free kids race on the same course.
Teams can be put together on race day, and the registration area handles last-minute changes before the start. Team captains pick up the baton there and declare the running order. The kids race follows the relay, so families with younger runners have reason to stick around after the main event.
