About the Pipestem Pumpkin Run
The course runs through Pipestem Resort State Park, a wooded state park setting that gives the race a genuinely scenic feel rather than an urban one. A Halloween costume contest runs alongside the timed race, with judging near the start, so there is usually a good spread of creative outfits in the field. Restrooms are available at the park headquarters and at the canyon rim.
