About the PinkStrong Ride
The PinkStrong Ride is a cycling event, not a running race, but it is worth knowing what the morning looks like. Routes range from a short loop around Hutto to a long haul through several small towns in the area, all on low-traffic country roads with rolling hills on the longer options. Costumes and pink tutus are part of the scene.
Packet pickup opens before sunrise on ride morning. Riders roll out after a national anthem and color guard ceremony. Pancakes and drinks are waiting at the finish line on the lawn. SAG vehicles cover each route, and rest stops are spaced out along the way to keep riders fueled.
