About the Pilgrimage in the Park 5K Run/Walk

This is a Thanksgiving morning trail race through Pulaski Park, with views of Lake Cumberland along the way. The course runs on newer trails, so the footing feels fresher than an older, worn path would. It is hilly enough to feel like a trail run rather than a road race in disguise. A portion of proceeds goes to the American Cancer Society.

Team divisions add a layer of friendly competition beyond individual placing: there are categories for church groups, families, coworkers, and friend crews. Post-race awards cover overall and age group winners. Race-morning registration is available if you miss the earlier cutoff.
