About the PGRC Women's Distance Festival 5K and Fella's 5K Race

The course runs through Lake Artemesia, a natural area in College Park with paved paths and water views. The terrain is flat throughout, so most of the effort goes into pace rather than elevation. The race is part of a statewide women's distance series, and the women's field goes first, with the men's race following later that morning.

Parking is at the Herbert Wells Ice Rink lot on Campus Drive, which puts you close to the start. Race-day registration is available if you have not signed up in advance.
