About the Peyton's Promise 5K Run for CDH Research

The course runs along the promenade on John F. Kennedy Boulevard, out and back along the coastline. It is flat beach-town running, the kind where you can hear the ocean nearby. The race is dedicated to a child who fought CDH, and that purpose is present in the atmosphere without being heavy about it.

After the run, the party moves to a local bar and restaurant a short walk away. There is a complimentary buffet for everyone who ran or walked, and a local brewery releases a special pilsner tied to the cause, with proceeds going to the foundation.
