About the Perry Wellington Turkey Trot
The longer course climbs up Brush Mountain Road and winds through Hollidaysburg before coming back to the YMCA. The shorter course starts in the opposite direction and opens with a challenging hill before leveling out through the finish. Both routes have a rolling character to them, with real terrain underfoot rather than a purely flat road loop.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Blair Regional YMCA, with race-morning pickup available as well. Color-coded bibs keep the distance groups sorted at the start, where runners and walkers stage separately. Awards go out immediately after the race, so plan to stick around if you are in contention.
