The course starts and finishes at a town park, winds through the streets of Pennville, then heads out onto country roads and back. The terrain rolls gently the whole way, nothing dramatic in either direction. There is a water stop roughly at the halfway point, out on the country road section.
The race is held during the Pumpkin Festival, and the park fills out afterward with vendors, food, music, and crafts. It is a full fall morning if you want to stay and wander around once you are done running.
