The course winds through Pomfret Forest on single-track wooded trails, and it is genuinely technical. Expect rocks, roots, and real elevation changes throughout. This is not a road race that happens to pass some trees; the terrain demands attention the whole way. There is also a kids run on the same morning for younger participants.
