About the PC2PG Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K
The half marathon runs point-to-point through Provo Canyon, following the Provo River Trail before connecting to the Murdock Canal Trail toward Lindon. The route descends the whole way, so your legs are working with the terrain rather than against it. Bridal Veil Falls is visible along the canyon stretch, and the surrounding walls make for a dramatic morning backdrop.
Half marathoners load buses from Oak Canyon Junior High before dawn, ride up to the canyon start, and finish back where they began. The shorter distances start at that same finish area and run out and back on the same trail. Packet pickup the evening before is strongly encouraged; same-day pickup is available but carries a small surcharge.
