About the 37th Annual Paw Paw Grape Lake 5K Run/Walk

The course loops around Maple Lake, starting near a community mental health building on Hazen Street and finishing on Willard Street a short distance away. The route is named for the town's grape-growing heritage, and the lake setting keeps things scenic throughout. The race supports local mental health and recovery organizations, so the cause is woven into why people show up.

Parking is spread across several lots along Hazen Street, all close to the start, and volunteers with signage are on hand to direct traffic. Awards go to the top finishers in each age group by chip time, and the ceremony starts as soon as results are ready after the field comes in.
