About the Parkway Subaru Battleship Half Marathon & GFL 10K
The course starts in historic downtown Wilmington along the waterfront, where the Battleship North Carolina sits across the river. Runners head south on Front Street and cross the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge before looping back through downtown, then continue out to Greenfield Lake for a stretch along the lake's greenway trail before returning to the finish.
Packet pickup is the day before at a downtown hotel, and race organizers strongly encourage picking up then rather than on race morning. Parking garages and street spaces are scattered throughout downtown near the start. After finishing, there is beer, snacks, and live music at the finish line party.
