About the Parker Parks and Recreation Turkey Day 5K FUN Run/Walk
The course rolls out from the Parker Recreation Center onto a closed road heading west, then swings north along Jordan Road before picking up the Cherry Creek Regional Trail and a paved highway trail. The whole loop comes back to where it started, on paved paths through open space. The event is not timed, and strollers are welcome.
Packets can be picked up at a local running store in Parker during the days before Thanksgiving, and race-morning pickup opens early at the Recreation Center. Hot cocoa, cider, and coffee are at the finish.
