About the Panther 5K Pi Run

The course runs on paved paths through a park, crossing bridges, tracing a river, and dipping into the woods before finishing near a historic mill. The start and finish are in front of a school, so the surroundings feel neighborhood-close rather than remote. The route has some variety to it without any serious climbing.

The top finishers in each gender take home a fresh pie from a local cafe, which is a better prize than most races offer. Proceeds benefit a graduating class project, so the race has a clear local purpose behind it.
