About the 2026 Paint the Town Pink 5K Fun Walk Run
The course runs through Woodruff Park, so there is green space around you for the whole route. Runners are timed and results count toward qualifying for other races, while walkers move at their own pace alongside them. The race is a fundraiser for a local cancer assistance fund, and that purpose is present in the atmosphere, particularly during the survivor parade that opens the evening.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon and evening before the race at the Cunningham Center, with race-day pickup available at the park for those who need it. The event runs in the evening, so expect a later start than most morning races and plan your warmup accordingly.
