The course runs point-to-point through the northern iron country, finishing in downtown Hurley. It is a Boston-qualified course, which tells you something about how it is measured and certified. The surroundings are northern Wisconsin woods, and the finish puts you right in the middle of town. A shorter run takes place the evening before, during an expo, so there is racing across two days if you want it.
