About the Ox Cart Days 5K Trail Run
The course runs through Riverwood Nature Center, with part of the route on unpaved trails, so trail shoes or something grippy is worth considering. The surroundings are natural area, not road or pavement, and the evening start gives it a different feel than a morning race.
Packet pickup opens before the start at the nature center. After the race, the Sheriff's canine unit puts on a demonstration, and there is a scavenger hunt running alongside the walk for younger participants.
