About the Owensville Watermelon 5K

The course runs out and back through Owensville, starting and finishing at the corner near the fire department. It is a straightforward road course with a clear turnaround, so you always know where you stand. Age group awards go deep into the brackets, including a separate category for young kids, which draws a fair number of families.

Bib pickup is available at the Watermelon Festival the two evenings before race day, and there is also on-site registration the morning of the race. The start area is right in front of the fire department on the edge of downtown.
