About the Outlaw Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
All three distances start in historic Luckenbach, where an old post office still anchors the town center. The shorter routes run flat on backroads and suit a fast effort. The half marathon rolls through Hill Country terrain, with the kind of hills you feel in your legs by the end. In early spring, wildflowers line the route, and longhorns are a real possibility.
Packet pickup is available midweek at a San Antonio running store, with a second window the afternoon before the race at the start line in Luckenbach, and again race morning. After finishing, there are sausage rolls and Shiner beer at the post-race gathering.
