About the Othello Park Labor Day 1K/5k

The course mixes paved park paths with grassy equestrian trails, so the footing shifts as you go. The route rolls through Othello Regional Park just outside of Brunswick, and the terrain draws both road runners and trail runners without fully belonging to either world. Awards go to top finishers by age group, presented near the finish line after the race.

Race-morning registration opens early, before the first wave goes off. The shorter distance is geared toward younger kids and stays mostly on pavement. Proceeds from the event support a local high school track and field program, so the entry fee goes somewhere specific.
