About the Ossian Fest 5K
The course loops through Ossian, and the morning draws a wide mix of people, from serious runners to parents pushing strollers. Kids' short dashes run after the main race, and the whole thing has the feel of a town gathering as much as a running event.
A pancake breakfast inside a local gym follows the finish, which gives people a reason to stick around after they cross the line. Registration opens early on race morning, so you do not need to pick up your bib the night before.
