About the Osseo Turkey Trot
The Osseo Turkey Trot runs on Thanksgiving morning and starts and finishes in downtown Osseo. There are a couple of distance options, both routed as loops, so you return to where you began. The course is straightforward, and the timing means most people are out here to move a little before the holiday meal rather than to race.
Proceeds go toward renovations at a local softball field, so there is a tangible reason behind the entry fee. The downtown start keeps parking and logistics simple, and the crowd tends to be a mix of neighbors doing something together before turkey hits the table.
