About the Open Door Monster Dash 5K
The course starts at Canan Commons and heads into downtown Muncie before picking up the White River greenway. From there it follows the river north and into the historic Minnetrista campus, then loops back on the Cardinal Greenway, crossing the White River on a bridge before winding back through downtown to the finish.
Packet pickup happens at two times and two locations: the Open Door Administration Building on S. Walnut Street the afternoon and evening before the race, and at Canan Commons on race morning. Parking is free at Open Door locations nearby; if you are driving on race day, the lot behind the Administration Building is easiest, entered from Mulberry Street to avoid street closures.
