About the On the Hill 5K

The course runs through the grounds of Saint Meinrad Archabbey, starting and finishing near a former gift shop along a state road. The setting is monastic and quiet, with the abbey buildings and surrounding landscape defining the route. Age-group prizes and chip timing are both part of the race.

Parking sits right at the start in the lots by the abbey caskets building and the former gift shop. Before the race, participants are welcome to attend Mass in the Archabbey Church, running clothes included. The start area registration opens well ahead of gun time.
