About the Oly Turkey Day 4 Miler
A Thanksgiving morning race in Olympia, the course is a single out-and-back or loop through the area, running-friendly and open to walkers as well. The holiday timing gives it a particular energy: people show up with family in tow, treat it as a warmup before the meal, and the mood on course reflects that.
There is a packet pickup the evening before the race, with a morning pickup option available for an added fee. The organizers ask participants to bring new socks to donate, collected at the start for local distribution through a community foundation. No dogs, scooters, or bikes on course.
