This is a costume race that doubles as a fundraiser for the town's fire, ambulance, and police services. Plenty of people show up in capes and masks, so if you want to dress the part, you will fit right in. The course is a standard road distance, and the entry fee goes directly toward training and equipment for the people who respond when something goes wrong in town.
