About the Old Bill's Fun Run
The course starts and finishes on Willow Street, just north of a downtown intersection, with the hub of activity on the elementary school field. Several distance options run alongside an untimed walk and a Diaper Derby, and costumes are genuinely encouraged. Prize money goes to nonprofits, so the competitive runners are racing for a cause rather than a trophy.
Bibs for timed runners are available at the Community Foundation office on E Snow King Avenue in the days before the race, and also on race morning at the start line arch. Free parking is in the lot at Cache Street and Gill Avenue, a short walk from the start. After finishing, there are snacks under a large tent on the field with a DJ and nonprofit booths.
