About the Oktoberfest 5K
The course starts and finishes at a craft brewery, heading out along shaded trail before connecting to a creek trail for the return leg. Both stretches are paved rail-trail style paths, flat and runnable, with aid stations spaced out along the way. Costumes are genuinely part of the scene, so expect lederhosen and dirndls alongside the usual race gear.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the brewery taproom, with race-morning pickup available as well. After the race, the brewery hosts the post-race party with beer, pretzels, and music. The whole setup stays on-site, so there is no need to drive somewhere else to celebrate.
