About the OHS Paws in the Park 5k run & 1 mile walk

The course runs along the water at a county park outside Seneca, so there is a lake view for most of the run. Dogs on short leashes are welcome, and strollers too, though both are asked to line up toward the back. The race benefits the local humane society, which gives the morning a pretty specific energy: a lot of people show up with their dogs.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at the park, with a second window on race morning before the start. A post-race party follows at the same lakeside location, with refreshments, awards, and music.
