About the OFS 5K Run & Ride

The course runs through Riverton, following a route along the Delaware River. The surroundings are historic and quiet, with river views carrying most of the visual interest. Riders and runners share the morning, though the bike option is untimed and more of a casual outing. A water stop sits roughly at the halfway point of the course.

Common Questions About the OFS 5K Run & Ride

Will I finish last at the OFS 5K Run & Ride?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 37:51, and the last recorded finisher came in around 50:45, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the OFS 5K Run & Ride a good first 3.1 Miles?

It is a small race (12 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the OFS 5K Run & Ride?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 26:36 while the median finisher took 37:51. That spread points to a relatively quick field, so expect a competitive front end.
