About the Octoberfest 5k Run/Walk and Mom Maruca's Beer Mile & Beer Mile Relay

This is an Octoberfest-themed race event in Uniontown that pairs a road run with a beer mile and a beer mile relay, all benefiting the local high school track team. The beer mile has its own custom blonde ale brewed for the occasion by a local brewery, and there is a costume contest for best Bavarian or Octoberfest dress.

Packet pickup the evening before takes place at Mom Maruca's, where the kitchen runs high-carb specials and live music kicks off later in the evening.
