About the OctoberFAST Fun Run 5K and Kids 1K
The course runs through the streets of historic downtown Bartow, looping through older neighborhoods before returning to the main district. It reads flat and urban, with architecture as the backdrop rather than trails or parks. Timing is unofficial, so the focus is firmly on the run itself rather than a certified result.
Post-race refreshments are set up at the finish. The event benefits the local Main Street organization's downtown revitalization work, so the money stays in the neighborhood where the race runs.
