About the Ocean View Half Marathon & 5K

The course follows the coastline of Great Neck, and the water stays close for most of the run. Along the way, the road passes colonial-era homes that predate the country itself, which gives the route a different character than most coastal races. The terrain is typical of this part of the shoreline, with scenery that makes the miles go by without noticing.

Race photos are posted within a week and are free to download. Real-time GPS tracking through the RaceJoy app lets people follow along from home, and timing splits are published live on the results page as runners hit checkpoints along the course.
