About the Ocean State XC Invitational - Ocean State 5K Trail Run

The course runs through Goddard Park, weaving along trails beside the bay and out across open grassland. The terrain is flat, so there is no real climbing to manage, and the natural setting does most of the work. The start and finish sit next to the clubhouse for a public golf course, which gives the whole thing a casual, open-air feel.

Parking is available inside the park, and bathrooms are on site. The race starts early in the morning, with race-day registration opening a little before the gun.
