About the Oaklawn Color Classic 5k & Fun Run
The course runs through Marshall with volunteers stationed along the route to douse runners and walkers in colored cornstarch powder. It is that kind of morning: you finish looking nothing like you started. The powder is food-grade, which matters when it is going in your face. A post-race party at a local brewing company wraps things up.
Early packet pickup is held the evening before at a hospital main lobby in town. If that does not work, packets are available race morning at the registration tents. Online registration closes the day before the race, and it must be completed on your own device before you arrive.

The Oaklawn Color Classic 5k & Fun Run has been held every year since at least 2016. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
