About the 20th Annual NVRC/Herbie's Home "Town Loop" 4 Mile Run/Walk
The race runs a loop through Bellefonte, starting at Rogers Stadium. It honors Jeremy Herbstritt, a Bellefonte graduate killed in the Virginia Tech tragedy, and the course has been a gathering point for his family, former classmates, and the broader community ever since. Proceeds from the race support the local high school cross country program.
After the race, a free shuttle runs from the high school down to an arts and crafts fair happening in town that same weekend. It is worth staying for if you have time.
