About the NVRC Gray's Woods Labor Day Mile
A road mile along Gray's Woods Boulevard on Labor Day morning. The course is flat and straight, as a timed mile on a boulevard tends to be, and the race splits into heats by category: a kids' heat, a masters heat, a heroes heat, and a dog mile. It has the feel of a neighborhood event with a stopwatch attached.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
