About the 14th Annual NVRC Boalsburg Turkey Trot
The course starts outside the Pennsylvania Military Museum on Thanksgiving morning, and the beneficiaries include local school athletic programs and the museum itself, so the crowd around the start tends to reflect that. Several distance options mean you see everyone from young kids doing the short route to adults pushing through the longer one. The grounds give the race a distinct backdrop.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, with race-morning pickup available at the museum before the start. If you are driving in, the museum is your landmark and your staging area both.
