About the Nowata 5K & Fun Run
The course is USATF certified, so the distance is accurate and the route is measured properly. It starts outside Nowata City Hall, which puts you right in the center of a small downtown. Proceeds go to a local youth organization, so the crowd skews toward families and neighbors rather than a pure racing crowd.
Packet pickup and race-day registration both happen at the start area on the morning of the race, which keeps logistics simple. The fun run goes off first, with the main race following shortly after.
