About the Northfield 5K & One Mile Kids' Race
The 5K starts in front of a savings bank on the main road through downtown and runs through the surrounding streets, with mile markers posted along the way and a water station near the midpoint. The kids' mile has its own route, heading uphill from near the post office and looping back through several downtown streets to finish at Depot Square.
Bib pickup happens at Depot Square on race morning, near the stage. Parking is on-street along the right side of the main road as you come down the hill into town, and portable restrooms are placed at Depot Square. An awards ceremony follows the 5K, covering a broad range of age groups for both races.
