Noah's Gift 5K

Hernando, MS

Registration openAnnual since at least 2021

About the Noah's Gift 5K

This race is a memorial fundraiser for a teenager named Noah Costa, and the cause shapes the whole morning. The money raised goes toward grants for young people to pursue experiences Noah loved, things like hockey, hiking, and water sports. You can run, walk, or skate the course, which makes the field unusually mixed in a way that feels intentional rather than incidental.

After the race, the host foundation opens its lawn for food and games. A virtual option also exists for anyone who cannot be there in person, with GPS tracking available through an app or a manual reporting fallback.

Common Questions About the Noah's Gift 5K

Will I finish last at the Noah's Gift 5K?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 35:06, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:04:24, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Noah's Gift 5K a good first 3.1 Miles?

A field of 219 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Noah's Gift 5K?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 18:10 while the median finisher took 35:06. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.
