About the No Veteran Left Behind 5K Walk/Run
The race starts and finishes at Bluffdale City Park, where the morning opens at a veterans memorial on the grounds. Before anyone runs, there is the national anthem, a moment at the memorial, and a word from a veteran. The cause is direct: entry fees go to the Wounded Warrior Project, so the race has a weight to it that you feel in the crowd.
The park hosts the finish-line gathering afterward, and the whole event is built around that shared purpose rather than the clock. A shorter dash for kids runs alongside the main course, so families tend to show up together and stay through to the end.
