About the No Shave November/Cure the Blue Hybrid 5K

The course starts and finishes at a park gymnasium in Endwell, looping out and back on a certified route. It is a timed race with age-group awards, so there is real competition at the front, though the event draws plenty of people running for the cause rather than the clock.

Registration opens at the Highland Park gymnasium on race morning, and a pancake breakfast is set up there after the finish. The race benefits prostate cancer research, with donations going to a local cancer center and a foundation started by a former NFL player who survived the disease twice.
