About the NJ Trail Series One Day
The course at the Sussex County Fairgrounds is a short, repeating loop on hard surface and packed gravel, designed to be run many times over. Runners choose their own duration, from a few hours up to several days, so the field holds people at wildly different points in their race at any given moment. The loop is lit at night, and a display on course tracks laps and position.
The aid station runs around the clock for the full event, staffed by a kitchen crew that prepares hot and cold food throughout, with vegan options available the entire time. Runners and crew can access the kitchen to cook their own food as well. Tent camping is available on the grass nearby, and RV spots are on site too. Heated bathrooms with showers are just steps from the course.
