About the Nicole Moniz Memorial 5K Run/Walk
This race is held in memory of Nicole Moniz, a social worker and community volunteer whose family and friends built an annual event around her. The foundation behind it focuses on mental health access, particularly for young people and those in helping professions, so the crowd tends to reflect that mission. The mood is purposeful.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at a local design shop in Ripon, with race-morning pickup available at Vines and Rushes, which also serves as the start area.
