About the New Year's 5k
The course is paved and designed to be runnable at any pace, from a hard effort to a first-time walk. A short kids race runs alongside the main event, giving younger family members their own start line. Age group awards go several places deep, so there is something to race for beyond the overall top spots.
The organizers note that the venue, course map, and start time are still being finalized at the time of writing. Packet pickup details will be posted once the location is confirmed, and registered runners will be notified directly when those specifics are locked in.
