About the New Year. New Me 5k Run (10k + 1-Mile)
The course runs along the Mission Hike and Bike Trails, so the terrain is path-style rather than road. Several distance options mean you can go shorter, longer, or somewhere in between. A fitness team leads a warm-up before the gun goes off, and a cool-down session follows shortly after the last finisher comes in.
The start area has a photo setup, snacks, and a hydration station, with drinks from a local supplement shop as well. A DJ plays during the event, and post-race awards cover overall winners plus a broad range of age groups. Pickup for bibs and packets happens the evening before at a location still to be confirmed.
