About the New Buffalo Township Fired Up 5K

The course follows a dedicated path beside Red Arrow Highway and loops through Union Pier, keeping runners clear of traffic. The surroundings are a small lakeside community, the kind you move through slowly enough to actually notice.

Pre- and post-race activity is centered on the parking lot of Timothy's Restaurant on Red Arrow Highway. Packet pickup the evening before is at New Buffalo Township Hall, also on Red Arrow Highway, with race-morning pickup available as well. The race benefits the local fire department.
