About the NEMS Alcorn State Alumni Race for Scholars 5K

The race starts and finishes at Fair Park, with packet pickup opening early on race morning before the gun goes off. It raises money for scholarships that send students from the area to Alcorn State University, and the cause is woven into the morning rather than just printed on a banner.
